Gauntlet Council No 152 was consecrated at the Harrow District Masonic Centre on Monday, 21 st November 1988. The Consecrating team was led by M.Ill.Comp. Thomas Howard, Grand Master, and included his successor Keith Hind, as the Consecrating Director of Ceremonies.
At that time the Council was part of the Surrey and Middlesex Division of which R.Ill.Comp. Alfred Mark was the Divisional Inspector. There were 13 Founders, two of whom are still members of the Council. The primus Thrice Illustrious Master was Ill.Comp. Bob Rowland, who was also the Organising Founder. Gauntlet Council is the seventh Order in the Gauntlet group of Masonic Orders; for all of which Ill.Comp. Rowland was the Organising Founder, starting with the Craft Lodge in 1967. Our membership has grown steadily over the years with a current membership of 24.
We meet on the second Monday in January, the third Monday in June and the second Monday in October (Installation).
