Arthur Hollins Council No. 123

Consecrated at Mark Masons  Hall on Thursday the 8 th March 1979 by the Grand Master, M.Ill. Comp. Dr. Arthur  Sturgess Hollins O.B.E.

The first Master. was Ill. Comp. Richard A.C. Mordant, P.G.Lect. and  Bro. Peter Halls-Dickerson – a current member of the Council, - was proposed as a Candidate to be received and acknowledged into the Order, by Ill. Comp. Mordant on the 10th September 1979.

The Council’s first meeting place was at the Masonic Hall, New Windsor Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex, but relocated to its current meeting place at The Masonic Centre, Hercies Road, Hillingdon, Middlesex on the 8th March 2001, when Ill. Comp. Jeffery Robert Green was the Thrice Illustrious Master.

The current membership stands at 24, and despite deaths and resignations, has remained at similar levels throughout the past decade.

More Brethren have indicated their intention to join the Order, and with work in progress for two recent members, should provide sufficient work into 2016.  The attendances have dropped a little in recent years, but there is a strong nucleus of members who attend regularly to occupy the key Offices.  The mood of the Council remains positive and the meetings are always a happy occasion.

The  Ceremonies are regularly of a high standard however, there is no room for complacency, and new members are always one of the top priorities.  The Council is on a good footing, and set for further growth in the coming couple of years.  This Years Master is Ill.Comp. Brian Berry.

Meeting dates 2016:-
2nd Thursday in March  (10th March 2016)
2nd Wednesday June (8th June 2016)
2nd Monday in September (12th September 2016)
